Distressed Antique Persian Malayer Rug, 03'06 x 06'04.
This hand-knotted wool distressed antique Persian Malayer rug
features an all-over floral lattice pattern overlaid across an abrashed field.
The offset rows of stylized blooms with colorful boteh style curled leaves have
a softened graphic appeal. Two carnation meander guard borders in beige and
blue flank a simple thin, low-contrast barber pole border. The use of lovely
shades of cerulean and coral give the otherwise monochromatic neutral color
palette dimension and order. Though deceptively modest, this antique Persian
Malayer rug would bring charm and quiet elegance to nearly any interior.
