Immersed in Anatolian history and refined colors, this hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish prayer rug combines simplicity with sophistication. It features a mihrab niche with a ram's horn lattice design filled with ambiguous motifs on an abrashed red field. The spandrels above the mihrab beautifully display repeating delicate florals. It is enclosed with a botanical border flanked with an inner geometric guard stripe and an outer sawtooth guard band.
