This exceptional hand-knotted wool and silk vintage Persian Shiraz rug is a captivating expression of Persian garden imagery, distinguished by an elaborate compartmental composition and a sophisticated interplay of texture. A warm golden field forms the setting for twelve individual garden panels, each conceived as a miniature botanical portrait. The use of varying pile heights gives selected motifs a sculptural presence, allowing flowers and ornamental details to rise from the surface with tactile dimension.
