Description:-
74052 Vintage Turkish
Kilim Tribal Runner Extra Long Hallway Runner 03’00 x 17’03. This boho chic
extra-long Kilim runner is anything but boring. Made from hand-woven wool
vintage Turkish kilim runner features an allover geometric pattern in vibrant
colors. A row of hexagonal medallions take center stage each filled with
symbolic Turkish motifs on an abrashed red background. An ivory dashed symbol
known as the comb separates the border from the field. A symbolic fertility
border with complementary colors contrast beautifully on the dark background.
The various Turkish motifs used are the ram's horn, Fetter - Bukagi, comb and
the Bereket. The ram's horn symbolizes power, masculinity, fertility and
heroism. The Fetter represents the continuance of the family and may they
always stay together. Blending primitive charm, ancient symbolism and Folk Art
warmth, this tribal kilim runner is a striking statement piece that creates
depth, dimension and serves many design purposes. Perfect for extra-long
hallways, corridors, galley kitchens and Bohemian decor. Hand-woven wool.
