This traditional style vintage Turkish Oushak runner features three oval medallions with jagged edges anchored with rectilinear finials floating on an abrashed and weathered field of striated dark brick red, dark rustic ruby red and wine. Botanical symbols grace the center of each medallion and each is punctuated by a tribal element. The vintage Oushak runner is framed by a meander carnation border composed of stylized flowers and palmettes. Lush palmettes bloom from the spandrels and extended cloudband motifs. The contrasting colors of this delightful Turkish runner will enhance the most industrialized and modern spaces with an air of familiarity.
