vintage Persian Malayer runner features a lively all-over Herati pattern on an
abrashed field. The richness and variety of motifs employed give the carpet
runner’s central design an unusual level of depth and interest. The main border
contains a variety of floral motifs. The geometric boteh inner and outer guard
borders present a lively contrast to the floral elements of the central design
and main border. This combination of floral and geometric elements, further
enhanced by unexpected touches such as the aqua accents, results in a timeless
and well-balanced composition. Rendered in variegated shades of rust, brick
red, salmon, terra cotta, faded soft red, coral, cerulean, verdigris, sky blue,
