Kilim Runner 02'04 X 08'08 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. This vintage
Turkish Kilim runner features an abrashed brown background with symbolic tribal
motifs on the bottom half of the runner. The five brown bands each display
three tribal motifs separated by a series of triple ivory bands. The Turkish
motifs used are the ram's horn and burdock. The ram's horn symbolizes power,
masculinity, fertility and heroism. The diamond motif with the spurs is called
a burdock and believed to ward off the evil eye. Culturally-rich Turkish
symbolism and Impressive design present themselves to make for an exquisite
kilim runner. With its simplistic design and subtle pop of color, it is easy to
love this Turkish Kilim runner. Hand-woven wool. Made in Turkey. Measures:
