Description:-

20564 Vintage Berber Moroccan Boucherouite Rug 02'05 x 06'03 From Esmaili Rugs Collection. Stark shades of the colors woven into this piece work together to create a contemporary abstract look. The variegated color pattern conjures the tribal feeling of Moroccan spirit in this Vintage Berber Moroccan Boucherouite rug. The design woven into the Moroccan rug is chaotic yet beautiful, with some of the patterns and designs being repeated throughout the piece. One of the repeated shapes is the diamond, which is the focal point of the piece. The diamond is highly recognized in Ancient Berber culture to predict a pregnancy and symbolize the power of womanhood and reproduction. The piece is bordered with a double black line that ties the rug together to completion. Uniquely woven with recycled materials, such as leftover cotton and wool, giving the rugs a colorful boho chic style. Boucherouite rugs are known as Moroccan rag rugs. Hand-knotted wool and cotton. Made in Morocco. Berber Tribes of Morocco. Measures: 02'05 x 06'03.
