More than Primitive charm found in this Berber Boucherouite rug, there is also an element of Ancient Berber culture as well. The chevron pattern has great historical meaning in the history of Moroccan rug-making as a continuation of the range of feminine and reproductive symbolism displayed by Berber carpets. This Berber Moroccan rug’s chevron pattern alludes to a woman’s opened thighs and her readiness for conception. Rendered in variegated shades royal blue, ink blue, purple, yellow, dark green, baby blue, coral, pink, red, orange, lavender, tan and ecru with other accent colors.
