Oushak Rug, 01'09 X 03'02.
This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak Yastik scatter rug features a rectangular medallion patterned with Ram's Horn motifs overlaid upon an abrashed gray cut-out field with serrated edges. A single lozenge composed of four triangles graces each corner spandrel on a warm coffee colored backdrop. It is enclosed with a rectilinear and curvilinear meander border flanked with an inner sawtooth guard band. End-caps at either end are patterned with triangles, adding visual interest and depth.
