50724 Vintage Turkish
Oushak Runner, Narrow Hallway Runner 02'06 X 10'02 From Esmaili Rugs Collection.
This hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runner features three
diamond-shaped floral hooked medallions on an abrashed field, which is outlined
with a stair-step border. Multi-color rosettes densely fill the corner
spandrels and ziggurats that protrude towards the center. Two rectangular
panels with running water borders flank each end and feature a floral vine
motif. The Oushak hallway runner is framed by a floral crenelated main border.
The three medallions are particularly striking with the use of hot pink
rosettes and serrated boteh serving as latch-hooks. The mix of stylized
geometrical floral motifs and compartmentalized sections results in an
attractive and well-balanced composition. Rendered in variegated shades of
brick red, terra cotta, gray, greige, taupe, ecru, hay, straw, beige, light
yellow, sienna, coffee, black and hot pink. Perfect for a hall, hallway, galley
kitchen, corridor, living room, bedroom, master bath, grand foyer and long
