Embodying the highly decorative aesthetic, this vintage Persian Tabriz rug
displays a traditional style. Featuring a tastefully casual presence and
sophisticated chic style, the all-over geometric pattern resonates an
astounding degree of refinement. Across the majestic field emits an impressive
array of intertwining vines, abstract florals and dancing mocha vines blooming
with voluptuous azure, gray and mint shah abahs. The Persian Tabriz rug is
bordered with lush palmettes and tiny bouquets of mocha hued flowers, flanked
by two guard borders of meandering vines and rosettes. Tabriz was the first
village to establish factories to create carpets fully for export. This opulent
example of a Tabriz is a luxurious addition to nearly any grand interior.
Perfect for placing beneath a round dining table, in a sitting room, defining a
large foyer or entryway. Hand knotted wool. Made in Persia (Iran). Measures:
