74211 Vintage Persian Heriz Rug with American Colonial and Mid-Century Modern Style. Traditional and regal with brilliant color, this vintage Persian Heriz area rug with American Colonial and Mid-Century Modern style is comprised of a prominent octagram medallion flanked with two palmette finials. The central octagram medallion surrounded by an all-over rectilinear pattern composed of blooming palmettes, rosette roundels, curled sickle leaves, stylized florals, organic shapes, leafy tendrils, and angular vines. The large-scale medallion rests on cut-out red and beige field while the corner spandrels elegantly repeat the botanical designs used throughout the piece. It is enclosed with a Herati style border flanked with an inner and outer carnation meander guard border. This vintage Persian Heriz area rug is a timeless, versatile weaving that will anchor nearly any interior with grandeur style from Downton Abbey to Jay Gatsby.
