The meandering botanical motifs and ornate floral embellishments cover the opulent burgundy-wine colored field with layers of meticulous details. The main border is filled with lush botanical foliage, elaborating the design to a point of incredible intricacy and complexity. From the sumptuous borders to the rich composition and its intimate patina, this Persian Mashhad rug is remarkably captivating throughout and truly an exceptional masterpiece.
