Kashan Rug, 10'03 x 13'03.
This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Kashan area rug is
rendered in a brilliant jeweled color palette. Featuring an ornate central
medallion bursting with bouquets of flowers and vibrant palmettes this striking
Kashan rug is a work of art. Lush palmettes, lotus and fresh boteh dance in a
frenzied garden of deep burgundy. Spandrels with trefoils accented in
cornflower blue are ensconced with curving tendrils. A thick ink blue border
patterned in a replicated Herati motif is flanked by triple guard bands. This
classic Persian Kashan area rug will add an air of formality to any modern
living area.
