With its timeless design and warm earthy hues, this hand-knotted wool distressed antique Persian Sultanabad rug beautifully embodies a Tuscan Italian style. The abrashed and weathered field is covered in a well-balanced all-over botanical lattice pattern composed of geometric palmettes, curved sickle leaves, stylized florals, leafy tendrils, rosettes, and vinery. It is enclosed with a classic botanical meander border flanked with inner and outer floral meander guard bands.
