This blue-grey colored rug combines the classic elegance of traditional Persian rug motifs such as ornate floral and scroll work designs with a contemporary overdyed finish. The combination of the old and the new creates an interesting style juxtaposition. The hand-knotted wool vintage overdyed Persian rug has been finished with an aqua-blue and grey colored dye and deliberately distressed throughout. The Persian Tabriz designs of large palmettes, curvilinear vines and a Herati pattern border peek through the added dyes. Hand-knotted in wool. Made in Iran. Measures: 09'08 x 12'04.
