76648 Vintage Persian Heriz Rug, 09'07 x 12'04.
Perpetually posh meets timeless appeal in this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug. The stylish levels of complexity and traditional color palette woven into this piece work together creating a modern yet elevated feel. A prominent octofoil medallion anchored with trefoil palmette pendants sets the scene. The abrashed red field is richly patterned with palmettes, stylized flower, serrated leaves and ambigous tribal motifs. Distinctive corner spandrels echo the designs within the medallion and field. It is framed with a classic Herati border and stylized floral meander guard borders. Classic iterations of red, ivory, and navy blue make this vintage Persian area rug a beautiful expression of American, British, or French patriotism.
- Rendered in variegated shades of red, navy blue, ivory, tan, brick red, pink, cerulean, rose, sky blue, taupe, teal, greige and verdigris with other accent colors.
