The architectural elements of naturalistic forms and timeless elegance combined with Arts & Crafts style, this hand knotted wool antique Turkish Oushak rug astounds with its beauty. The geometric print and earthy hues woven into this antique Turkish Oushak rug work together adding texture and subtle graphic appeal forming a relaxed and cozy, yet lively space. The abrashed field features two pole medallions sprouting with an all-over botanical pattern composed of angular palmettes, leafy tendrils stylized florals, rosettes, and symbolic Anatolian motifs running the length of the composition. A fretwork of diamond lattices grace each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with a complementary rectilinear botanical border flanked with an inner crows feet guard band and outer cross guard band.
