Highlighting timeless appeal with incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug can beautifully blend contemporary, modern, and traditional interiors. The geometric design and lively earth-tone colors woven into this piece work together creating a truly classic look. The abrashed red field features a large-scale octogon medallion surrounded by an intricate arrangement of serrated leaves, palmettes, rectilinear vinery, buds, blooms and rosettes. Serrated corner spandrels echo the designs within the field. A traditional Herati border flanked with angular meander guard borders elegantly frame the composition, pulling together colors from throughout into a unified, harmonious design. This modern style Persian rug has many layers that perform well together with a symphonic energy captivating immediate attention.
