Perpetually posh meets Ivy League style in this hand knotted wool antique Persian Mahal rug. The naturalistic details and sophisticated color palette woven into this piece work together creating a look of traditional elegance with a laid-back luxury vibe. An opulent cornucopia of lively Herati motifs cover the abrashed red field. Equally refined navy blue corner spandrels echo the Herati design within the field. It is framed with a classic Herati border enclosed with carnation meander guard borders and angular running water guard bands. With its timeless appeal and rich earth-tone colors, the overall design aesthetic is straightforward and streamlined yet reflect such interesting facets of Persian culture.
