This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Kayseri rug features an all-over symmetrical Islamic geometric pattern of interlocking octagonal amulets and square motifs adorned with opulent frondescence and floral motifs. It is enclosed with a botanical border flanked with an inner and outer guard band and subsidiary eight-point star outer guard border. Characterized by predominate Georgian style and French Provincial influence with its ornate details, this vintage Kayseri rug emanates grace and style.
