Drawing inspiration from Mario Buatta and Chintz style, this hand-knotted wool vintage Aubusson Garden style area rug features the full blossoms of flower garlands similar to those found in the French originals. Abundance and earthly beauty, the flower blossoms are bunched together to form a center ogival medallion and separate ogival garland. Arabesque feathered swirls bloom from lush palmettes in a similar color palette. This eye-catching garden blooms from a black field creating a lovely contrast. The border is patterned with two alternating vases of spring floral bouquets, flanked by thin guard bands of swirled borders.
