This hand-knotted wool contemporary Turkish Oushak rug features a
sunny all-over floral pattern spread across an abrashed soft cerulean field.
Large expressive palmettes, vinery, lanceolate leaves, branches, buds, and
blooms form a loose latticework that is reminiscent of classic rug designs. The
wide main border echoes the design of the field, while its soft creamy hues
offset the deeper tones of the rest of the piece. An elaborate combination of
calyx meander, pearl meander, and barber���s pole secondary borders effectively
frame the composition. With its vibrant but not overwhelming color palette and
