Kashan Rug, 11’02 x 16’07. 

Lustrous decadence and French Country style are on display in this
hand-knotted wool, vintage Persian Kashan rug. Surrounding a dainty center
medallion with an outer stepped lobe border the all-over floral pattern
permeates the composition. Similar in scale to the center medallion, cerulean
spandrels ornament each corner. It is enclosed with a classic Shah Abbas border
and flanked with triple meandering guard bands.
