78505 Vintage Swedish Rollakan Rug, 05'11 x 12'05.
This hand-woven wool vintage Swedish Kilim rug with Scandinavian Modern style features a striped pattern composed of both wide and narrow bands forming a captivating visual effect. Two thin creamy-beige colored bands are composed of a checkerboard pattern creating the stripe set on the striated background. This understated and retro design is appealing in a variety of modern interiors, from Danish design, Manhattan loft apartment or office, to Mid-Century Modern homes and contemporary interiors. This Swedish Rollakan rug draws inspiration from master weavers: Marta Maas-Fjetterstrom, Ingegerd Silow and Marianne Richter.
