77270 Distressed Antique Caucasian Kazak Rug, 01'07 x 02'03.
This hand knotted wool distressed antique Caucasian Kazak scatter rug features two large red octagonal guls outlined with royal blue latch-hooks edges. Each gul is filled with an eight-point star of wisdom motif on a beige backdrop surrounded by navy blue ram's Horn and hook extensions. A series of expanding triangles adorn each corner and separate the two large octofoil medallions. It is enclosed with a four petal floral border.
Rendered in variegated shades of brick red, terra cotta, baked clay, navy blue, cerulean, tan, burnt orange, sand, ecru, and taupe with other accent colors. Desirable Age Wear. Abrash. Hand knotted wool. Made in Caucasus Region (Old Russia). Measures: 01'07 x 02'03.
