Traditional sensibility meets weathered charm in this hand knotted wool antique-worn Persian Saraband rug. The intrinsic small-scale boteh design and warm earthy hues woven into this piece work together creating a rustic yet refined look. An allover pattern composed of repeating mir boteh motifs cover the lovingly time-worn field. It is framed with a beige Shekeri border and red Herati border enclosed with a series of guard bands.
