With it's warm, earth color palette and strong lines, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug embodies Arts & Crafts Bungalow style. It features an concentric central medallion anchored with serrated palmette pendants. The central medallion is surrounded by an all-over botanical pattern composed of blooming palmettes, roundel rosettes, angular vines, stylized tulips, and organic shapes. The corner spandrels elegantly repeat the botanical designs used throughout the piece. It is enclosed with a Classic Herat style border flanked with inner and outer geometric Meander guard bands.
