61166 Antique Persian Malayer Rug, 03'06 x 06'11.

With its timeless style, incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted antique Persian Malayer rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The tribal design and atmospheric colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly unique look. The cut-out field features an elongated medallion decorated with tree of life motifs. Additional mbiguous motifs highlight the field while small-scale repeating boteh motifs further ornament the corner spandrels. It is enclosed with a triple border composed boteh flanked with inner and outer running water guard borders.

  • Rendered in variegated shades of pinkish-reddish, rust, navy blue, dusty rose, brown, tan, verdigris, mauve, camel, taupe, dark sage, and sand with other accent colors.
