Mahal Runner, Traditional Style Hallway Runner 03'09 X 10'00 From Esmaili Rugs
Collection. This hand-knotted wool antique Persian Mahal runner features a
Sultanabad design composed of large-scale Herati motif alternating with square
shapes, blooming palmettes, rosettes, lancet leaves, roundels, vine scrolls,
and acanthus leaves. The field is enclosed with a saw-tooth and running water
guard band. A version of the Herati border with spiked vines and an outer
running water guard border enclose this traditional style hallway runner.
Rendered in variegated shades of brick red, scarlet red, terra cotta, burnt
orange, rose, light pink, olive, ink blue, cerulean, taupe, navy blue, camel,
tan, ecru, beige and cream. Perfect for a hallway, entry, Galley kitchen,
corridor, living room, bedroom, hall, studio, study, office, foyer and long
