This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz runner features a center column of diamond-shaped pole medallions spread across an abrashed ink blue field. Each medallion contains a center design comprised of an eight-pointed star within an octagon surrounded by checkered diamonds. Striped half-medallions line both sides of the center column. A wonderful series of borders frames the composition: a classic cup and leaf main border flanked by graceful carnation meander guard borders and an inner Laleh Abassi guard border. With its bold geometric design, warm color palette, and well-harmonized composition, this wonderful vintage Persian Heriz runner would be a stylish and comfortable addition to any interior.
