With an impressive array of realistic floral elements and brilliant, alluring color, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Yazd rug is poised to impress. At the center, a floral medallion is anchored with complementary trefoil palmette pendants patterned with floral elaboration bespeaking French cultural influence. The burgundy field is covered in an all-over floral pattern composed of dainty floral sprays, hyacinth blossoms, rosettes, floral bouquets, leafy tendrils, floral sprigs, and curved sickle leaves. It is enclosed with a traditional Kirman-style border breaking into the field creating a lush enclosure and a refreshing finish to a formal composition. Balancing a timeless design and and refined elegance, this vintage Persian rug would bring a sense of nostalgic charm to nearly any interior.
