. This hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug
features an ornate floral lobed center medallion across an abrashed scarlet red
field. Large palmettes, lanceolate leaves, buds and blooms radiate outward from
the medallion filling the field. A classic palmette main border is accompanied
by a quatrefoil meander outer guard border and rosette inner guard border. The
corner spandrels repeat the palmette motifs that appear throughout. With an
elaborate design and intricate detailing, this Persian Heriz rug would be a
stately presence in any space. Rendered in variegated shades of ruby red,
scarlet red, burgundy, wine, coffee, sienna, brass, camel, taupe, rose, coral,
salmon, ink blue, cerulean, bottle green, dark green, stone gray, lilac-grey,
