The distinguished botanical design and sophisticated color palette woven into this piece work together creating a modern yet elevated feel such as quintessential all-American style or Ralph Lauren collegiate prep. An allover pattern composed of palmettes, stylized florals and leafy tendrils cover the ivory field. Botanical formations echoing design within the field emanate from the green and red corner spandrels. A rhodan lily and rosette border frames the composition while a carnation meander guard border and angular floral meander guard bands add the finishing touch. Reflecting a timeless appeal and a bit more formal, this antique Persian area rug would bring a sense of nostalgic charm to nearly any interior yet still depicts simple elegance.
