Rich in color, texture and beguiling ambiance, this hand-knotted wool vintage Persian Mashhad palace rug beautifully displays timeless elegance and regal charm. A stunning testament to traditional Persian weaving, it features an all-over floral pattern composed of blooming palmettes, curved sickle leaves, millefleurs, rosettes, and blossoms. An almond shaped cusped concentric medallion anchored with palmette pendants highlights the center field while elaborate florals adorn each corner spandrel. It is framed with a complementary floral palmette border flanked with inner and outer botanical and carnation meander guard bands.
