Subtle sophistication meets Biophilic Design in this vintage Persian Bakhtiari rug. The nature-inspired design and soft earthy hues woven into this piece work together creating a modern yet curated look. Taking center stage is a serrated medallion decorated
with a variety of botanical motifs spread across the beige field. Floral finials seem to bloom from the
center medallion, which is filled with a large flower head surrounded by
rosettes and cypress trees. Stylized vases, urns, fronds, rosettes, blooming lotuses, cypress trees and light
scrolling further ornament the composition. It is framed with a star and serrated leaf border while boteh and diamonds
decorate the secondary borders. Reflecting elements of Biophilia with soft earth-tone colors, this vintage Persian rug imparts a sense of warmth and welcomed informality.
- Rendered in variegated shades of beige, brown, rose, champagne, gray, mauve, taupe, eggplant, charcoal, orange, navy blue, coffee and maroon with other accent colors.
