Warm and inviting with a bold tribal design with rustic sensibility, this hand-knotted wool antique Persian Azerbaijan runner is poised to impress. The abrashed brown field features an all-over geometric pattern composed of octagonal stepped medallions known as Memling Gul motifs decorated with eight-point star motifs and rosettes. It is enclosed with an alternating Elibelinde and Ram's Horn border flanked with an inner rectilinear meander guard band. The brown hues and tribal elements provide a sophisticated and masculine juxtaposition that doesn’t feel forced while creating a relaxed, inviting ambiance.
