Embodying European sensibility with an artful balance between warm and inviting, this hand-knotted vintage Turkish Oushak rug recalls the surface designs of Fine China, blue and beige patterns dazzle the eye. Taking center stage is a central lozenge medallion with diamond tips and four large-scale cusped cartouche-style pendants all outlined in navy blue, adding depth and interest. The sandy-beige field is covered in an all-over geometric pattern composed of large angular palmettes, hyacinth, rosette sprigs, octofoil medallions, tree of life motifs, and rectilinear vines. An intricate and stylized Herati border frames the light and dark blue florals and blossoming vines against a subtle background.
