This hand knotted wool distressed vintage Turkish Oushak accent rug features a centre medallion with extending blooming botehs dotted with jugs, lozenges, and organic shapes on an abrashed and weathered red field enclosed with latch-hooks and a saw-tooth border. Faded cerulean mihrabs are filled with stylized florals and capped with rectangular bands filled with rosettes. It is enclosed with a large compound border and flanked with an outer tribal motif guard band. Perfect for an entry, grand foyer, stair landing, kitchen, designer entryway, short hallway, open hall, private library, den, mudroom, study, home office, sitting room, bathroom or it would make a lovely accent to a living room, bedroom, or vestibule.
