Biophilic Design meets Organic Modern style in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Overdyed rug. The geometrical rock art petroglyph design and earthy colorway in this piece work together capturing the essence of nature's wonders while simultaneously introducing the current trend for Biophilia in high-end design. Emanating from the center is a cusped medallion heavily patterned with unusual biomorphic shapes and geological formations creating a metamorphic texture. Abstract fragments composed of tiny amorphous organic forms encompass the medallion cultivating an esoteric juxtaposition among the nature-inspired design. Emulating organic modern style and characteristics of Wabi-Sabi, this vintage overdyed rug dances between the realms of conceptual design and metamorphic petrology whilst connecting home interiors with the elements of nature.
