French Provincial meets Bridgerton style in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish overdyed rug. The soft pastel colors and highly decorative details in this piece capture the essence of Regencycore and historical glamour. A prominent elongated medallion anchored with damask pendants and richly patterned with opulent frondescence is lavishly appointed in the middle of the composition. Delicate rinceau and acanthus swags levitate above the beguiling sea of ethereal hues. Barely-there yet equally elaborate spandrels display botanical cascades which extend along the sides creating an inner frame.
Quietly concealed in the same way, an ornate floral border adds the finishing touch whilst harmoniously amalgamating its way into the lovingly time-worn composition. Emulating nostalgic charm and laid-back luxury, this vintage Turkish rug conveys an enchanting ambiance rooted in formally informal and inimitable warmth.
