The bagface features numerous symbols offering protection from evil including four pairs of of hook motifs and repeating concentric diamonds or "human eye" motifs. At the bags center, a conjoined pair of ram's head or bereket motifs signify fertility. Antique Caucasian Kilim Bags such as this were used by nomadic peoples traveling long distances.
