77378 Vintage Chinese Tabriz Rug, 07'10 x 09'05.
This hand-knotted wool and silk vintage Chinese Tabriz area rug makes a visual statement with it's dense repeated geometric motifs and soft colors. It has a scalloped almond shaped central medallion anchored with bulbous trefoil pendants and banded triple corner spandrels. The entirety of the field is patterned with a repeated Herati design. Overlapping scalloped spandrels lead to the intricate Herati border flanked with triple guard bands and subsidiary floral meander guard stripes.
