74101 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug Gustavian Swedish Style 06'09 X
11'06. This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a
double stepped centre medallion anchored with trefoil leaf pendants floating on
an abrashed golden field. The spandrels are filled with blooming palmettes,
rosettes, and rectilinear vines on a lavender-gray background. Each corner is
outlined in a combination of saw-tooth zigzag lines and stepped edges creating
the cut-out field. Rectangular bands composed of ziggurat mounds echo the
corner spandrel color palette. It is enclosed with a botanical floral border
flanked by inner running water stripe and an outer carnation Meander guard border.
Cozy and refined, soft pastel colors, this vintage Oushak rug is the epitome of
Gustavian Swedish style and will fit in beautifully among chippy white
