This hand-knotted wool antique Persian Assadabad Hamadan runner
features a hexagonal center medallion with elongated rosette and tree of life
pendants across an abrashed cream field. The field is decorated with a lovely
floral lattice pattern with interior hooked lozenges. Abstract botanical
designs boldly anchor the corner spandrels, while a simple series of
running-water and boteh motif borders frame the composition. The lively mix of
patterns and a color palette make this antique Hamadan runner both stately and
exciting.
Rendered in variegated shades of cream, beige, ecru, ivory, brown,
coffee, sand, fawn, cerulean, sky blue, celadon, navy blue, ink blue, onyx,
