This hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug presents a commanding procession of four octagonal medallions across an abrashed red field, capturing the expressive geometry and symbolic language of Anatolian weaving. Each medallion is linked along a strong vertical axis, creating an architectural rhythm particularly suited to the elongated proportions of the runner. Earthy shades of brick red, camel, charcoal, beige, and muted brown enrich the exceptional composition with patinated warmth. Within each medallion rests a monumental eight-point star, or octagram, centered by a smaller stellar device and surrounded by diminutive floral accents.
