50155 Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug, 03'07 x 05'11.
Modern style meets traditional sensibility in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak Rug. The intricate geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a rustic yet refined look. The cut-out field is outlined with orange latch-hooks. Two stepped lozenge amulets decorated with angular botanical motifs float in the middle of the abrashed red field. Square cubes decorated with a stepped diamond motif in each corner spandrel. It is framed with a Bergama border flanked with an inner meander guard border and a carnation outer guard border. Immersed in Anatolian history and lively earth-tone colors, this vintage Oushak rug combines simplicity with sophistication.
- Rendered in variegated shades of brick red, purple, beige, brown, tan, orange, coffee, gray, and light green with other accent colors.
