Stately decadence meets luxurious Jacobean style in this vintage Persian Hamadan rug. The ornate floral design elements and rich colors woven into this piece work together evoking a timeless sense of belonging. Starting from the center is a cusped floral central medallion surrounded by opulent swags of blossoming flower garlands on the abrashed red field. Elaborate corner spandrels richly patterned with florals and foliage extend along the sides creating an inner floral frame. A classic Herati border enclosed with triple floral guard borders elegantly frame the composition, pulling together colors from throughout into a unified, harmonious design.
