Showcasing a bold expressive design, incredible detail and texture, this hand knitted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching medallion design and colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly unique look. Starting from the center is a small square medallion filled with a hexagonal latch-hook amulet dotted with flowers. The medallion floats in a two-tone abrashed field with stepped edges anchored with ram's horn symbols and hands on hip motifs at either end. The corner spandrels are filled with stylized leaves and flowers reaching towards the center. A rosette inner guard band surrounds the composition.
